Heli LiftScissor-lift helicopter platform — concept preview

Concept render of the black HELI LIFT scissor-lift helicopter platform with support arms extended
Concept Preview — Not Yet in Production

Overview

HELI LIFT is a concept in development: a scissor-lift helicopter platform that raises, rotates and places rotorcraft into tight hangar footprints. Mecanum wheels let the loaded platform move in any direction, so a helicopter can be slotted into a corner that a conventional tug could never reach. To be clear about where this stands: the renders on this page show a design still in progress, and the figures they suggest are not final. We publish concepts because our customers help shape them — if HELI LIFT would solve a problem in your hangar, ask us for updates as development continues.

Compatible Aircraft

Intended for rotorcraft handling in tight hangar footprints; compatibility and figures will be confirmed as the design is finalized.

Use Cases

HELI LIFT is a concept aimed at the hangar where floor space is the constraint: a scissor-lift platform that raises, rotates and places a helicopter into a footprint a conventional tug could never reach. Mecanum wheels let the loaded platform move in any direction — sideways, diagonally, or turning in place — so a rotorcraft can be slotted into a tight corner. This is a design still in progress, so the intent matters more than the numbers right now: if packing more helicopters into a fixed hangar is your problem, this is the concept meant to solve it. Tell us your aircraft and hangar layout and we'll factor it in as the design develops.

How It Compares

Where a skid tug like DISCOVERY H tows a helicopter in and out along a path, HELI LIFT is meant for a different job: lifting the aircraft onto a platform that can move in any direction and set it down precisely in a corner. The mecanum-wheel drive is the point — omnidirectional movement instead of a fixed turning line. Because HELI LIFT is still a concept, the renders and any figures they suggest are not final, so we won't publish head-to-head specifications yet. We share concepts because customers help shape them — ask us and we'll keep you posted as it firms up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HELI LIFT a finished product?
No — it's a concept in development. The renders show a design still in progress, and the figures they suggest are not final. We publish it because customer input helps shape the final machine.
What makes it different from a skid tug?
It's a scissor-lift platform, not a tow tug. Mecanum wheels let the loaded platform move in any direction and rotate in place, so a helicopter can be set into a tight hangar corner a conventional tug couldn't reach.
Can I register interest now?
Yes. If HELI LIFT would solve a problem in your hangar, tell us what you fly and how your space is laid out, and we'll share updates and confirmed specifications as development continues.
