Infinity Tugs

GravityHeavy duty electric aircraft tug for light jets and turboprops

GRAVITY electric aircraft tug hooked to the nose wheel of a business jet inside a hangar

Overview

GRAVITY is our flagship walk-behind electric aircraft tug, built for light jets and turboprops that outgrow lighter equipment. Its 48 V, 1200 W electric drive tows up to 5,000 kg — 7,000 kg with the optional upgrade — so one person moves a Vision Jet, TBM or PC-12 in and out of the hangar without a second pair of hands. The electric winch pulls the nose wheel onto the glass-fiber deck, secured by attachment webbing with leather protection, and the tug works on grass and asphalt alike. Designed and built by pilots and engineers who move aircraft every week.

Compatible Aircraft

Compatible with light jets and turboprops such as the Cirrus Vision Jet, Daher TBM series and Pilatus PC-12, as well as twin-engine piston aircraft.

Use Cases

GRAVITY is built for owner-operators, flight schools and charter departments who move the same aircraft in and out of the hangar several times a week and don't want to depend on a second person or a shared airport tug. A typical day looks like pulling a Vision Jet out for a morning departure, repositioning a TBM for maintenance, and tucking a PC-12 back into a tight hangar row at night — all single-handed. It's equally at home on a grass strip as on a paved apron, so mixed-surface fields and private hangars are where it earns its keep.

How It Compares

Against a diesel tug, GRAVITY runs silent and emission-free, so it's safe to use inside a closed hangar with no fumes to ventilate, and there's no engine to warm up or fuel to keep on hand — you charge the 48 V Li-Ion battery and go. Against a manual towbar or push, it removes the strain and the risk entirely: no heaving on the nose strut, no scuffed props, and precise control on ramps and inclines where muscle alone gets unpredictable. And unlike a large towbarless airport tug, it's sized and priced for a single hangar rather than a whole ground crew.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much can GRAVITY tow?
Up to 5,000 kg as standard, or 7,000 kg with the optional towing upgrade — enough for light jets and turboprops such as the Vision Jet, TBM and PC-12.
Can one person operate it?
Yes. The electric winch pulls the nose wheel onto the deck and the 48 V drive does the work, so a single operator moves the aircraft with no pushing and no second pair of hands.
Does it work on grass as well as asphalt?
Yes. GRAVITY is designed for both grass and asphalt, with 750 kg of load capacity on the ramp for getting up and over hangar thresholds.
